The Gun Leash app is designed to store your data in a separate database outside of the app store. This ensures that only your app can access it. If you delete the Gun Leash app, your data will be wiped from the phone and cannot be retrieved through forensic methods.

No GPS/Location Tracking:

Gun Leash functions similarly to a door contact on an alarm system that detects when the door is open or closed. Gun Leash is capable of determining when your gun is on you and when it’s no longer there. It is simply a Bluetooth device that has no idea where it is in space. It only knows where it is relative to your mobile device. Gun Leash promptly notifies you at the earliest point so that you can retrieve your gun before someone else does.

The Gun Leash app has been designed with privacy and security in mind. It is not served from the cloud, which makes hacking it virtually impossible. Additionally, the database resides as a stand-alone application, creating a “wall” between the app and the database. These measures ensure that your data is kept private and secure.
